Survey into the Supply of E-material and ILL Requests
The FIL Executive Committee and The Combined Regions (TCR) Conarls Working Group have published the results of a survey carried out into the supply of electronic format material in response to inter library loan requests

The Forum for Interlending and Information Delivery (FIL) is offering a sponsored place at the forthcoming ILDS conference (http://www.ilds2011.org/), to be held in the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies, 19th-21st September 2011. The sponsorship award covers the cost of attendance at the conference, all meals, accommodation and reasonable travel expenses.

The British Library makes a deal with Google
The British Library has reached a deal with search engine Google about 250,000 texts dating back to the 18th Century. Thousands of pages from one of the world's biggest collections of historic books, pamphlets and periodicals are to be made available on the internet.
